The developers at Massive Studio are making good on their promise and releasing the second major update for Star Wars: Outlaws. It’s part of a plan to make the action-adventure game better and more enticing. The patch brings over 100 changes, fixing camera issues and improving NPC behavior, including their positions and patrol routes. In doing so, the update continues to fine-tune the stealth experience so that even those who choose to sneak around in the shadows and quietly dispatch opponents can enjoy the gameplay. But one of the most exciting changes is the improved control of the speeder. The camera and response of this hovercraft have been significantly enhanced, making collisions less frequent and Kay’s falls from the speeder a rare occurrence. When they mention the camera, the overall field of view increases. You can read the complete list of changes in the attached link.

Another new feature is improved animations for Kay’s movement and melee. Understandably, various issues have been fixed, and optimization has improved. The update is 5.6GB on PC, 4.7GB on Xbox X/Series, and 3GB on PlayStation 5. Ubisoft says the update is based on fan feedback. The developers are committed to continuing to listen closely and continue to support Star Wars: Outlaws. On November 21, the game will go on sale on Steam, and the first paid expansion, Wild Card, will be released.

Original Version Quietly Pulled from PC Stores

With the remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn on the horizon, the original game has been undergoing a transition. First, the game’s price on the PlayStation Store began to reflect this change after the remaster was announced. Now, the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, which debuted in 2020, is also part of this transition. Unfortunately, this title has been removed from sale on the Epic Game Store and Steam, marking the end of its availability.

Remaster Becomes the Sole Option for PC Gamers

As a result, the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is the only version available for purchase on PC. This version has been given a price tag on both Steam and Epic Game Store, making it ready for sale in anticipation of its release. Previously, the game could only be added to wishlists, but now, for instance, on Steam, the remastered version is available for 49.99 euros.

Bundle Deals: How to Upgrade from the Original

However, a bundle is also available on Steam, offering the original Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for 39.99 euros and an upgrade to the remastered version for 10 euros, the same as the PlayStation 5 upgrade option. While the original version is no longer available for purchase on PC, it can still be found on the PlayStation Store.

October Release Date Confirmed for the Remaster

The highly anticipated Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC on October 31.

It’s been a month and a half since Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone was announced. That’s how long fans have had to wait for the first gameplay preview of this post-apocalyptic action RPG, which is different from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The sequel to Chernobylite sticks to the cornerstone, the atmosphere of a horror sci-fi survival shooter. Polish studio The Farm 51 wants to make everything better and more prominent. Whether it’s hordes of terrifying monsters, mysterious anomalies, or an expanded combat system emphasizing melee combat and item crafting, check out our review of the first episode on our website.

A New Perspective on Survival: What to Expect from Chernobylite 2

In the one-minute gameplay trailer, we look at the open world of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone with familiar locations. Also of interest is the camera switching, where you’ll use a third-person view during stealth sections and combat while exploring the terrain from your own eyes. This will make you enjoy exploring the environment more and knowing exactly what’s happening around you during combat. You’ll have a diverse arsenal of weapons, allowing you to take any approach to situations. You will wage war not only against monsters but also against factions. Negotiations are also in store. Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will be released in 2025 on PC and most likely only on the next-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

The Reason for the Delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is Supposed to be Too Many Bugs

Last week, Ubisoft delayed the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows from this November to the middle of next February. Talk of “guaranteed” reasons began to circulate immediately, even though, in many cases, they were exaggerated. Now it’s starting to look like the reality will be much more boring than the supposed fear of the Ghost of Yotei or the problems of collectible figures and single-post torii gates. As a Brazilian insider with the nickname tvPH suggests, the reason for the delay is supposed to be too many bugs that the developers need to fix and wouldn’t make the original deadline.

Insider Reports Critical Bug Issues

The insider refers to two sources inside Ubisoft who were supposed to confirm that Assassin’s Creed Shadows contains a critical mass of bugs. This is where Ubisoft‘s publicly communicated effort to avoid the same problems that Star Wars Outlaws faced immediately after its release is supposed to stem from. That is, to debug everything so players get as uninterrupted an experience as possible and can focus only on the content, not technical flaws. The insider also added that one of the main reasons why the upcoming sequel to the Assassin’s Creed franchise is in such a disappointing state is supposed to be the significant innovation in the technology used, which has also been a symptom of more buggy titles like Assassin’s Creed Unity or Assassin’s Creed Origins in the past.

High Stakes in a Competitive Market

However, the difference between the current Ubisoft and the Ubisoft of several years ago is that the company faces problems on many fronts, and it’s impossible to get away with even a tiny mistake in the current climate. For that reason, Ubisoft strives to iron out any kinks to repair at least some of the damaged reputation, but it will undoubtedly be in the long run. Moreover, as gamers may have already noticed, Ubisoft has decided to release Assassin’s Creed Shadows in February next year, when several exciting and, in many ways, competitive titles are due to arrive. To name a few, alongside Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which is due to arrive, Avowed, gamers will no doubt be interested in the seventh installment of Civilization, not to mention preparations for Monster Hunter Wilds and other titles. If nothing else, Ubisoft won’t have it easy in February, either.

Horizon Zero Dawn has Doubled its Price on the PlayStation Store

September’s State of Play saw the announcement of a remaster of the previous generation hit Horizon Zero Dawn. Thanks to it, we know that its current owners can get the upgrade for ten dollars. Sony hasn’t revealed that it has made the original version more expensive. Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition costs around $50 on the PlayStation Store, double the price tag of roughly $20-25. The title has also long been part of the PlayStation Hits collection, one of the main features of which is a price below the just-mentioned $25. It’s also important to know that you can’t buy any version other than the complete edition on the PS Store.

Sony’s Strategy for Preventing Bulk Upgrades

Of course, this is Sony’s treatment, so those interested in the remaster don’t buy the original version in bulk, which they would then upgrade to save money. The remaster will be offered at the same price. Of course, the sudden price change doesn’t apply to the physical versions of the game, which you can still easily find in stores for under $15. Nor is it a matter of the PC version. On Steam, the game sells for 50 euros (excluding various discounts) and has even been pulled from the Epic Store. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered comes out on October 31 on PC and PlayStation 5. You can read our review of the original version in our article.
