Original Version Quietly Pulled from PC Stores

With the remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn on the horizon, the original game has been undergoing a transition. First, the game’s price on the PlayStation Store began to reflect this change after the remaster was announced. Now, the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, which debuted in 2020, is also part of this transition. Unfortunately, this title has been removed from sale on the Epic Game Store and Steam, marking the end of its availability.

Remaster Becomes the Sole Option for PC Gamers

As a result, the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is the only version available for purchase on PC. This version has been given a price tag on both Steam and Epic Game Store, making it ready for sale in anticipation of its release. Previously, the game could only be added to wishlists, but now, for instance, on Steam, the remastered version is available for 49.99 euros.

Bundle Deals: How to Upgrade from the Original

However, a bundle is also available on Steam, offering the original Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for 39.99 euros and an upgrade to the remastered version for 10 euros, the same as the PlayStation 5 upgrade option. While the original version is no longer available for purchase on PC, it can still be found on the PlayStation Store.

October Release Date Confirmed for the Remaster

The highly anticipated Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC on October 31.
