Rumour has it that PlayStation owners will see more games this year that have so far only been available on Microsoft platforms. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a certainty, Archaeologist will arrive around spring, and Doom will be ready on release day: The Dark Ages. The latest reports point to other pieces. Insider Nate the Hate has reported that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Halo will be coming this year: The Master Chief Collection. In addition, both titles are also apparently headed to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.

Another insider, namely Jez Corden, subsequently followed up the report. The journalist confirmed that he had received the same information, pointing to a couple of other games that are set to launch on Sony’s consoles. Apparently, these include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Age of Mythology and the Ultimate Edition of the first Gears of War. Corden added that they could theoretically come out on the new Switch as well, but he’s not sure. Microsoft will then acquire the Final Fantasy-branded games in return. Specifically, it will be the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, according to unconfirmed reports, arriving on Xbox later this year. Then next year, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will reportedly arrive.
