Stalker 2 is generating significant excitement as its release approaches. Xbox Series S owners can look forward to a solid gaming experience with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Developer Slava Lukyanenko recently clarified that the game runs at approximately 35 frames per second on Microsoft’s less powerful console. This update corrects an earlier misstatement of 25 fps during an interview at Gamescom. Despite some concerns about performance, the game is expected to deliver a satisfactory experience on the Series S.

On the Xbox Series, Stalker 2 will compromise the Performance and Quality graphics modes found on the Xbox Series X. The development team actively optimizes the game across all platforms to ensure the best possible quality.
Release Date and Platform Availability
Stalker 2 is slated for release on PC and Xbox Series X/S on November 20, 2024, and will include Czech subtitles. While a PlayStation 5 version has not been officially confirmed, it is anticipated to be announced later.
