The various wrap-up features have become very popular in recent years. PlayStation already offers its version of Wrap-Up 2024. The end of the year is approaching, and with it comes the traditional review of what the past 12 months have brought us. In recent years, the trend of various recaps across all platforms (not just gaming) has been inherent. After all, who wouldn’t want to brag to their friends about how many thousands of hours they’ve spent playing games this year, or how much music they’ve listened to? PlayStation is now bringing its own recap, but there’s a catch.
The popularity of PlayStation Wrap-Up 2024 is evidenced by the fact that, at the time of writing, the service was still struggling to run properly. In fact, stat-hungry players overloaded the servers at the very beginning. So even now, some will have to wait a while for their summary. In the Wrap-Up, find out your “top” game of the year. This is followed by your top five most played games, complemented by your favourite game genre. The wrap-up also offers a month-by-month overview. Another section provides PS Plus game recommendations, a breakdown of total hours played, trophies earned in 2024, social stats and some interesting facts about your involvement in the PS Stars programme if you’re a member.
