Suicide Squad’s Last Song?
Sony will kick off 2025 in style. PS Plus subscribers can start looking forward to the new additions to the January line-up of free games. Of particular note is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (PS4, PS5), last year’s release from Rocksteady. It’s no secret that the game failed to live up to the enormous expectations. Moreover, the developers recently revealed that they are not planning any more content.
Need for Speed and The Stanley Parable
Therefore, the PS Plus launch is on the cards, with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered (PS4) and The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe (PS4, PS5) also for free. You can pick up these games on Plus on January 7.
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is basically a bigger, prettier version of that weird, mind-bending game from 2013 where you, as Stanley, wander around your empty office looking for clues. But it’s not really about finding clues; it’s more about… the game messing with your head. You make choices, but do you really? It’s a whole thing. The narrator is hilarious, by the way. Plus, this new version has even more stuff to discover, it is just more accessible, and it looks nicer. The narrator is still there, and he is terrific.
