You play Bolanle Gboyega, a soldier stuck in some freaky supernatural place. The game’s got this ritual combat thing going on that you need to master if you want to escape.
I’m not gonna lie – the third-person shooter stuff mixed with the spooky atmosphere can get pretty intense. But you might dig this if you’re into games with a good story and some meaty lore to chew on. Just be ready for a challenge ’cause this game runs smoothly in combat.
Empyrion – Galactic Survival: Your Space, Your Rules
The other freebie on EPIC is Empyrion – Galactic Survival. This one’s for all you space nerds out there. It’s one of those sandbox games where you can pretty much do whatever you want in space. Wanna build a massive spaceship? Go for it. Prefer to set up a base on some alien planet? Knock yourself out.
The cool thing about Empyrion is how you can mess with the terrain using this voxel system. You’ll gather resources, check out different planets, and bump into some alien species. You can play it solo if that’s your thing, or team up with buddies in multiplayer.
